Currently, a project is being prepared for a significant expansion of the ski center.
The base station of the new ski complex Kolašin 1600 was opened for the 2019 season. The length of the ski slopes in the future will be about 250 km. The development prospects are determined and confirmed by real investments.
The plot is located in the eastern part of the city, at a distance of 200 m from the road leading to the ski center, close to the city center (900 m), but in a quiet place, where the houses are 100 or more meters away from each other. At 50 m from the plot begins a mixed forest. A market, supermarkets, restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, and a railway station is within a 15-minute walk.
Kolašin is a small resort town located at an ideal altitude of 1000 m above sea level, in the central part of Montenegro. It is located in the upper reaches of the Tara, one of the most famous rivers, and is surrounded by the mountain ranges Bjelasica, Sinjajevina, Komovi and the century-old forests of the Biogradska Gora National Park.
Kolašin is popular with tourists all year round: from December to April as a ski resort, which over the past few years has risen almost to the level of European ones. In the rest of the year, rafting, canyoning, horseback riding, jeep safari, fishing, and just walking through the forests and mountains in the national parks surrounding Kolasin actively come here. Among the advantages of this city and its convenient location — a railway line passes through Kolasin, connecting Montenegrin coast and the capital with Belgrade; separated by only 80 km.
