The property is just over 1 km from the historic Via Postumia and close to the modern road to Mantua, the only road between Italy and Northern Europe at the time.
Stunning historic villa in Mozzecane, Verona, Italy
- Total area3,582 m²
Venetian villa built in the first half of the 18th century. It was designed by the Veronese architect Adriano Cristofali. The authors of the construction were the Vicelli family, of Veronese origin, possibly from Vicenza or Treviso, and the marquises of Cavriani were one of the most prominent noble families of the city of Mantua.
It was conceived as a traditional Veneto-style villa: the main palace, wings, double brolo — elements that are present here, as in many other buildings of that period. Completely renovated, today the villa is used for congresses, seminars, weddings and all kinds of events.
